I hope you had an excellent Thanksgiving, surrounded by friends and family, with turkey and pie and lots of love and actual givings-of-thanks. My Thanksgiving was not at all what I thought it would be. I started to get sick on Tuesday, was out of it on Wednesday, and that was when Ry got sick in the middle of the night. Plans were canceled and we spent Thanksgiving without a single bite of turkey. But it’s okay, because we’re going to make our feast tomorrow (or Sunday?), and it’s not what we planned, but it’ll be just as delicious.

Today, I’m recovering with my husband, praying our kids don’t get this, and doing some good old fashioned black Friday shopping from home in my pajamas.

Here’s what I have my eye on…let’s go shopping! C’mon, it’ll make me feel better.

Old Navy – 50% off

(no code needed, applied in cart)

Their Rockstar jeans have been selling like hotcakes and I’d like do my part to continue that trend. I’ve decided I’m going to listen to the hype and try them already. At 50% off AND crazy good 5-star reviews, you can’t go too wrong.

They have some super cute Christmas PJs for us ladies, too.

It also looks like Old Navy has a corner on the stocking-stuffer market right now, not just for women, but for everyone. I took a random screenshot and look at what I found

Those prices are before the 50% off discount.

Amazon

I always have my eye on Amazon this time of year too. It’s just too hard to look away from their crazy black Friday and cyber Monday countdown deals.

Electronics, especially Amazon’s devices, are a safe bet for the best deal online right now.

If I’m not buying electronics, I like to have a cart full of a few ideas and then see if the things I already wanted might be discounted. Otherwise, I might get stuck there forever.

Dayspring – 30% Off

Dayspring is having some amazing black Friday markdowns, and on top of it, you can take 30% off with the code FRIDAY17.

I talked about my love for Dayspring in my gift guide for Christian moms, but there are wonderful gifts there for EVERYONE. See?

Have fun shopping, friends! I hope you score some wonderful deals.

I’m going to kick back and pretend this sickness didn’t happen. I’ll share some family pics of our redeemed holiday next week, when I have them! I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving and are enjoying this holiday weekend.

  1. Oh no! So sorry to hear you have been so unwell! It’s great you will be able to have the big family celebration, just a few days late.

Hope you had a good weekend, and you got some bargains in the sales. I did some Christmas shopping last week but I haven’t bought anything in the sales yet.
