Hooray for Friday Favorites! It’s time once again for all of the internet to share the things that made our week just a little bit better. And to do a little victory dance. And to get the song “My Favorite Things” stuck in our heads. (Sorry.) So here are a few things I am loving lately, as I wrap up a roller-coaster of a week with my fantastic family of four.
I just need to give a shout-out to the nebulizer Sylvie was prescribed for making a huge difference in her ability to breathe! Yes, over the weekend, some things happened. By the time I got Sylvie to the hospital, her oxygen level was in the 80s. She didn’t need to be admitted, though it was a close call, and after getting some top-notch meds, she’s back to herself. I’ve stopped packing a bag for the hospital to have by the door at night, just in case. 🙂
We no longer need it, but boy did Sylvie love her nebulizer and use it like a pro.
Have I told you yet that I love pretty things? Yes? A bit too much? Well, that’s why I love Instagram–it’s so inspiring, pretty, and a wonderful way to connect with other friends and bloggers. (Sorry, Facebook, but you are NOT a pick-me-up in this girl’s book.)
I decided February would be the month I’d focus a bit more on this lovely app, sharing my favorite pictures and a few thoughts to go with them.
I’d love for you to follow me there! I can’t wait to connect with you on my favorite social media.
Downtime with Family
This week, my favorite thing was having our little family reunited after Ry got home from his grandma’s funeral. Once everyone was relatively healthy, we got down to building forts, watching the Olympics, playing with stuffed animals and legos, and eating lots of soup.
Here’s a picture Ry took of the sunset from the plane…
And my picture from the ground that same night.
I’m so grateful we’re all almost healthy and together again!
You’ve been watching the Olympics, right? It’s at the point where I know I’ll feel lost when it’s over.
There was some amazing things to see this week! Like Lindsay Vonn’s last Olympic race, Team USA in hockey (!!), the ladies’ short program, and a ton of other things I’m neglecting. Despite all the excitement in other sports, my son Kai loves curling and asks to see it again and again.
My Favorite Pin of the Week
This week was short and weird and involved a visit to the hospital and one of us flying to a funeral…and, well, my pinning suffered. 🙂 But lately I’ve been salivating over the pastel Easter treats I’m seeing. Here’s my entire Spring and Easter Treats board. It is jaw-dropping!
I’m on Pinterest here, if you want to see what else I’m pinning lately. I’d love to see what you’re pinning too!
Tell me what you’re loving this week. And have a happy Friday!
